Ingeniero Civil industrial de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, Magister en Gestión de Operaciones de la Universidad de Chile y Especialista en Políticas y Planificación del Transporte UNSAM Argentina. Posee certificaciones en Trade Facilitation de Naciones Unidas y SCOR Model de Council of Supply Chain Management.
Luis cuenta con 20 años de experiencia como consultor e investigador en Supply Chain Management, Cadena Logística Portuaria, Gobernanzas Logísticas, Gobernanzas ciudadanas y Políticas Públicas de Logística y Transporte. En el ámbito de proyectos de consultoría en Supply Chain Management destaca el trabajo de rediseño de procesos basado en modelo SCOR para SIKA-CHILE, apoyo a la implantación de la estrategia logística en Finnig Latam y gestión de inventarios para PRECISION y ABMATIC.
Entre los principales proyectos de consultoría realizados en plataformas logísticas y puertos figuran:
- La estrategia funcional y de negocio del Centro Logístico de Mejillones (CALIMEJ)l
- Modelo de negocio y operación de la Zona de Extensión de Apoyo Logístico del Puerto de Valparaíso (ZEAL)
- El nodo logístico para el tráfico de camiones del Puerto de San Antonio
- Logística de contenedores para la Empresa de Ferrocarriles del Estado (EFE)
- Accesibilidad logística y portuaria para el Ministerio de Obras Públicas (MOP)
- Estrategia de competitividad logística para la Región de Valparaíso (MOP-Seremi V Región)

Ing. Marcelo Eduardo Arce (Argentina)
Ing. Aeronáutico de la Universidad Tecnológica Nacional Actual Director/ Socio en Southern Business Advisory, con más de 25 años de experiencia profesional en Consultoría y Operaciones desarrollada en cargos directivos de Molinos Rio de la Plata, Aerolíneas Argentinas y Miebach Consulting, liderando proyectos de Supply Chain en empresas referentes de la industria en Argentina, EEUU, México, Colombia, Uruguay, Paraguay e Israel.
Actualmente, atendiendo los requerimientos multifuncionales e intraorganizacionales presentes a lo largo de la Supply Chain y el impacto disruptivo que la tecnología digital ha generado con el e-commerce dentro de la industria logística, desarrolla servicios de consultoría y asesoramiento de alta dirección, orientado a facilitar el entendimiento de los nuevos escenarios y búsqueda de alternativas de mejora y nuevos negocios alineados con la posición competitiva y objetivos estratégicos de empresas industriales y de servicio.
También, ha mantenido a lo largo de su trayectoria profesional una activa participación docente y de dirección en distintas organizaciones profesionales:

Saipe & Associates
Dr. Alan Saipe has been involved with supply chain management for most of his working career – as a management consultant, an educator, and a line manager. He has consulted for more than 30 years with BearingPoint, formerly KPMG Consulting, and its predecessor companies, and now, as the Principal of Saipe & Associates. His portfolio of clients includes major corporations such as Grand & Toy, The Ottawa Hospital, Canadian Blood Services, Rothman Benson and Hedges, Kal Tire, Wolseley Canada, Industry Canada and Unilever.
His supply chain consulting experience began in 1978 when he joined Stevenson & Kellogg’s physical distribution practice. He has led and contributed to hundreds of client projects dealing with a wide range of strategic and operational matters in many industries. He led the logistics practices at Peat Marwick Stevenson & Kellogg and at KPMG Consulting. He formed Saipe & Associates in 2003 when he retired as a Managing Director from BearingPoint where he also led the Canadian supply chain logistics practice.
Dr. Saipe has been involved in non-degree executive education since 1975, launching the Supply Chain Management Centre of Excellence at the Schulich Executive Education Centre in 2002, and continues to teach in its programs. He is past Chairman of Supply Chain & Logistics Canada, now the Supply Chain Management Association. He also served for 5 years on the Board of Directors of the Central Ontario Hospital Procurement Alliance. Dr. Saipe obtained his B.A.Sc. in Engineering Science and his M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Dr. Saipe's breadth and depth of strategic consulting experience in the supply chain field adds significant value to our supply chain design projects. His vast knowledge will complement and enhance our modeling and analytical skills and strengthen the conceptual thinking capabilities of our team.
