We decided to adopt Microsoft’s Power BI as our main data visualization and business analytics engine.
The main factors behind our choice were Power BI’s relatively short learning curve, its user-friendly interface and its integration with the main Microsoft tools including MS Excel and SQL Server.
The Opti-Net™ to Power BI connection is seamless and straightforward:
- Opti-Net™ now includes a new, analytics data set
- This data set extracts relevant data from the core database
- Any change (data, scenarios) triggers an update of its info
- Power BI links directly to this data set
- The Power BI dashboards are refreshed automatically
