Let our tailored models and solutions drive you to lower costs, higher margins and better service.

EVERY SUPPLY CHAIN PROBLEM HAS MULTIPLE SOLUTIONS.
BUT ONLY ONE IS BEST FOR YOU.

This is why we do not offer generic, out-of-the-box solutions.

Instead, we rely on Opti-NetTM, our supply chain modeling platform, to implement solutions tailored to your specific needs.

Let’s Talk!

A few of our classics

Optimizing a Country
Optimizing the World
Optimizing for 25 Years!
Optimizing replenishment operations @ Danone de México

A fully integrated and customized system was developed to improve the quality and efficiency of Danone's daily plant-to-warehouse replenishment operations.  The network consisted on two plants, over 30 warehouse locations and over 100 individual dairy products.

The system was implemented in three phases:  Forecasting/inventory planning,  continuous replenishment and plant scheduling synchronization. planning system improved forecasting accuracy, reduced product losses and made the loading/routing of trucks more efficient.

Developing a Business Intelligence Tool for a Global Commodity
Orica is the world’s largest provider of commercial explosives and innovative blasting systems to the mining, quarrying, oil and gas and construction markets.

The organization was interested in developing a global competitive intelligence tool to model the entire commercial explosives industry. Their goal was to use this tool and its output to support major strategic business decisions.

This became a classic Opti-Net TM  project, where the platform is configured and tailored to address the very specific and unique needs of the client organization. The resulting strategic supply chain model of the entire industry was enhanced by algorithms we developed to derive product costs by manufacturing location and calculate the combined land/sea/land freight rate for millions of alternative feasible routes.
Optimizing the Continental Supply of Sulfuric Acid Since 1991
Chemtrade Logistics is one of the largest North American suppliers of sulfuric acid, spent acid processing services and liquid sulfur dioxide. Their (and our) first version of Opti-Net™ was implemented back in 1991 to help optimize their sulfuric acid and sulfur dioxide businesses.

Over the years the system has gone through a number of major upgrades and is now run by the 7th generation of Chemtrade users. The Chemtrade version Opti-Net™ is fully integrated with the corporate SAP environment, automating the flow of large volumes of input data (demand, freight, cost, etc.) and hence expediting the generation and optimization of new scenarios.

During the past decade Chemtrade has grown considerably, including major acquisitions, and the system has been deployed to support other business units. Enhancements and new reporting capabilities have been incorporated as the needs of the business evolves.
Our relationship with Technologix is now almost 20 years running and we continue to rely on their logistics and technology expertise in supporting our Transportation Network Analysis Program.

The Technologix group continues to provide US Cold with the highest caliber of support … their reliability and dependability is second to none. Perhaps Technologix’s greatest advantage has been their ability to customize their software to pattern US Cold’s operational methods providing a logistics network modeling capability that produces “real-world” results.

Larry Alderfer

Vice President, Corporate Development and Logistics
US Cold Storage
I have worked with Technologix on two major network optimization projects, including the global implementation of a highly customized strategic analysis tool, with extensive reporting and visualization capability.

Throughout both projects, the Technologix team always had the end game in mind, providing experience-based guidance on how best to address the short term issues AND accomplish the long term goals.

The complexity was immense and the time line was challenging, but I always felt that they were true project partners, invested in delivering the best outcome for me and my company.

Mitchell D. Lee

Global Strategic Sourcing
Orica Mining Services
The custom Technologix model used in Dyno Nobel’s business was configured not only to allow us to optimize our distribution network, but also for long-term capacity planning. As such, it has become a key tool for our business.

Technologix’s experience and expertise has proven to be invaluable from design, through configuration, and onto operating maintenance. The company’s relative small size enables them to provide cost-effective and responsive service when compared to their much larger competitors.
